If you’re a thrill seeker or fancy something a bit different then the Pas-de-Calais has plenty of high-octane activities for you...
Not everyone has paint-balling on their bucket list but if the opportunity to do D-Day paint-balling arises, would you be tempted? Based in the woods, about 15 km from Le Touquet the scene is set for World War II combat. This is a great activity for team-building, acted out in a place so near to where real World War battles were fought (note: you must be over fourteen to participate). If you don’t want to get splattered in paint then Opale Laser is also set outdoors and you get to shoot with some pretty handy laser guns. Based in the forest, just ten minutes from Le Touquet, this is awesome fun for all the family and a fantastic workout too. Tree top climbing in the pines at Opaladventure near Camiers would make an exhilarating afternoon for anyone. There are courses for kids through to adults with a great selection of high walks, obstacles, swings and wires to keep everyone amused.
There is plenty of beach action on the Opal Coast too. The long empty beaches are perfect for the increasingly popular sport of sand yachting. There are sand yachting clubs in most towns along the coast including Le Touquet, Berck-sur-Mer, Wimereux and Boulogne-sur-Mer. Another nifty way to get along the beach is by segway (mobil-board) which you can hire in Le Touquet and join the guided tour of the town, forest, estuary and beach.
Le Moulin is within a hour of all these activities and more. When you head back to the hotel after a day of forest fun or beach action, you can relax and reflect on your adventures in our lovely restaurant and bar.
At Le Moulin we have a wide range of rooms from which you can choose. We have spacious rooms on the ground floor with disabled access. If you want to bring your pet to stay then we have a room you can share with them too.
